This place is wonderful! Everyone is so polite and kind. Louis, our 2 year old bare eyed cockatoo, went for his first visit here. I was extremely nervous given he had never been to a vet before or handled by many strangers as we just got him 6 months ago. Everyone there wanted to see him and say hello, and the technicians and doctor were WONDERFUL with Louis. He did not yell or attempt to fly or anything during the exam and nail trim and the whole trip went wonderful. Pricing is great as well! We will definitely be back with Louis and are actually in the process of switching our 6 cats, and other exotics over to Gardens veterinary!

My cat hates being handled by anyone but me so both she and I get horrible anxiety when it’s time for the vet. Recently, she developed an itchy skin condition that she could not stop licking. It got so bad that she created a vicious cycle and was bleeding in so many spots all over her body. Dr. McTeirnan prescribed a sedative for her to take before her appointment which definitely calmed her down, but I was extremely impressed with how she was fearlessly able to treat & handle my hissing cat quickly, effectively, and in control. We noticed a positive immediate change in my cats mood and behavior as early as that evening and not even a week out, she is nearly completely healed and back to herself. I'm so grateful!Kimberly W
